MISSION
Compassionate Warrior Foundation (CWF) was created to have a direct and positive impact on a veteran’s ability to SURVIVE and THRIVE post-military service. This is achieved through a comprehensive, holistic-based approach resulting in post-traumatic GROWTH. CWF is privileged to serve combat veterans through a multi-layered platform consisting of four distinct phases of increased individual wellness. We are also mindful of the critical role a veteran’s support network plays in ensuring their long-term success.
By including the veteran’s support network, we’re able to empower the veteran and those closely impacted with the knowledge and tools necessary to elevate, create new habits, and grow strong together. One of the most critical variables for our selection criteria is the candidate’s want, need, and readiness to commit to the work required for change. The opportunity is here. The time is now to begin your journey of understanding, transformation, and healing beyond your military experience.
HISTORY
Following personal battles with pain, anxiety, PTS, and sleeplessness, our founder, Rob Davis, a 24 year Veteran Navy EOD, embarked on a journey to discover the meaning of true wellness and purpose for a Veteran post-service. While traveling throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia in search of options for lasting change and healing, Rob spent two years living in Mount Wudang, China, accrued 7,500 hours studying Qi Gong, Taiji Meditation, and become a 16th Generation Xuan Wu Pai.
Through this extraordinary journey, Rob was able to experience post-traumatic growth, calming his mind and healing his body. But his true purpose was just beginning. Rob knew the pain countless Veterans were still battling at home and how this unique, multi-layered approach towards lasting change could work for them as it did for him. Thus, in 2017, the core program for the Compassionate Warrior Foundation was born.
HOW WE’RE DIFFERENT
one program • four phases • lasting changes
The first eight weeks of the program are an introduction to many layers of wellness. This includes but is not limited to functional diagnostic nutrition, sleep hygiene, neuroplasticity, personal finance, wellness coaching, strengthening support networks, and decreasing toxicity.
The immersion phase is an opportunity to focus on the warrior’s journey without distraction. This time allows attendees to focus on the transition into their highest quality of life, whatever that may look like; increasing support network, finding purpose, passion, and connection within the community.
The warrior has now spent over eight weeks preparing for this reunion and return. This time is specifically for converting information learned in the previous weeks to a habit. The warrior is not doing this solo; their coaches remain there to inspire success and create a support network and sounding board from beginning to end.
Titration
The rate of titration, or one’s response preceding transformation, is very individualized. Each attendee organizes their titration with their coaches that meet their specific needs. This time is essential to move from learning to an area of responsibility for future wellness. This is the time to become the change that you wished for and have created for yourself and those close to you.
OUR LAYERS
We apply effort to 5 distinct focus areas: fitness, nutrition, finance, awareness, and spirituality. To achieve this, we provide attendees coaching, holistic functional diagnostic nutrition, neuroplasticity, meditation, sleep hygiene, personal financial strategy, coaching, and an immersion event.
